Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Industry: Machinery Manufacturing (CNC Machinery)
Salary: Up to 45000 base salary Overtime and company bonus also available
Package: Overtime Company bonus Car Expenses Progression within a market leader
Location: Within 1hr of Telford nationwide travel
Company Overview:
This business is a global leader in the manufacturing commission service and maintenance of CNC Machines although mainly specialising in 5 axis. They serve industries such as Aerospace Automotive Woodworking Sheet Metal and Composites. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Service Engineer to work and progress for a true market leader.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide field-based service support for CNC machining centres primarily working independently with occasional team collaboration.
- Adapt to avaried and dynamic workloadin a permanent stable role
- Routine maintenance and servicing of CNC machines predominantly 5-Axis
- Mechanical and electrical repairs
- Root cause analysis fault finding and troubleshooting
About You/Required Experience
- Proven field service experience in 5-axis CNC milling and routing machines
- An understanding of 5-axis programming for milling routing drilling and trimming applications
- Knowledge of Step 7 PLC Setting
- Some experience of CAD/CAM programming would be a plus
- Please note this is not a Programmer or Operator role this is for a Field Service Engineer to install maintain and service the machines
