Your objective will be to expand FLSmidths market presence by identifying recruiting and managing a third-party sales network throughout the North America Sales Area. This role is pivotal in ensuring and improving market coverage unit and revenue growth predominantly in the Natural Aggregate segment through an agile and cost-effective distribution model. Under the direction of the Region President Sales and Service North America and in close collaboration with FLS Products Business Line you will set the growth strategy and drive its successful implementation.

Your responsibilities

Distributor Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales distribution channel strategy aligned with FLSmidths global and regional growth objectives.
  • Identify target territories/segments/product groups with sales potential lacking direct FLSmidth sales coverage or improving market coverage in certain areas to increase FLS footprint.
  • Evaluate market dynamics and regulatory considerations for indirect sales models.

3rd Party (Sales Agents and Dealers) Identification & Onboarding

  • Conduct thorough due diligence to identify and vet dealers agents or representatives as per FLS Compliance Policies.
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding processes including training system access contract negotiation and compliance alignment.

Performance Management of distributor network

  • Set clear sales targets KPIs and reporting standards for each dealer and agent.
  • Implement a structured performance review and incentive system to ensure ongoing productivity and alignment with FLSmidth standards.
  • Monitor 3rd Party Distributors stocking levels and manage interface with SBL Supply Chain

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with product line managers legal compliance finance and marketing to ensure agents are equipped for success and aligned with corporate guidelines.
  • Act as the primary liaison between FLSmidth and appointed agents ensuring smooth communication and escalation management.
  • Coordinate the transactional management with the Supply Chain organization for stocking pricing Orders Supply and Logistics.
  • Collaborate with the Site Account Managers and Territory Managers for identified cross product opportunities.

Market Development

  • Monitor dealers and agents and report on market trends competitor activities and opportunities for organic and inorganic growth.
  • Support in local marketing efforts proposal development and customer relationship management.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all agent activities are in full compliance with FLSmidths Code of Conduct anti-bribery and corruption policies and local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of agreements interactions and audits.


What you bring

  • Previous experience in Distribution Management or direct management in Natural Aggregate supply roles with positive sales results
  • Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions and stock management in support of Net Working Capital objectives.
  • Proven success in leading an external Sales Channel
  • Bachelors Degree in business development technical or economics field with a comprehensive understanding of Natural Aggregate market segment.
  • Strong financial acumen with effective communication skills
