Sous Chef Care Home

Hourly Rate: 15

27 hours per week including alternative weekends

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and caring Chef who is ready to make a real difference in the daily lives of residentsbringing comfort nutrition and joy to every plate.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in care home catering who thrives in a busy kitchen and understands the importance of creating meals that are not only delicious but also tailored to individual dietary needs. Youll be working closely with the care team to plan and prepare balanced meals ensuring residents enjoy tasty nourishing food in a supportive and relaxed dining environment.

What Were Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Chef ideally in a care home or similar setting
  • Knowledge of specialist diets nutrition hydration and food texture modifications
  • Culinary qualification and current Food Hygiene Certificate
  • A team-focused compassionate approach with strong communication skills
