Job Description: Dietetic Technician
Location: Seattle WA 9810
Contract Length: 13 weeks (Potential for permanent hire)
Shift: 08:00 AM 05:00 PM (5x8-Hour)
Pay Rate: $31/hr (W2) $33/hr (1099)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Dietetic Technician to join its interdisciplinary care team supporting the nutrition needs of adult and geriatric participants in a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity for a motivated technician looking to grow with a mission-driven organization focused on holistic care for older adults.
Responsibilities:

Assist Registered Dietitians (RDs) in implementing and monitoring individualized nutrition care plans

Conduct calorie counts and monitor food/nutrition intake

Communicate with RDs RNs and other interdisciplinary team members

Maintain food safety protocols including temperature logging of food refrigerators and freezers

Oversee meal delivery and manage census/diet cards

Support dietary documentation using EPIC charting system

Manage ordering and storage of dietary supplies

Monitor for nutrient deficiencies and ensure adherence to dietary guidelines

Participate in department management as needed
Qualifications:

Required:

Graduate of a Dietetic Technician Program

At least 1 year of experience in a relevant clinical setting

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Proficiency in computerized documentation and EPIC charting

Experience in LTAC SNF or short-term acute care settings
