We are a fast-growing company seeking a reliable experienced Warehouse Lead to lead warehouse operations and manage deliveries using a 26-foot box truck. This dual-role position is perfect for a hands-on professional with strong leadership skills a solid driving record and a commitment to safety timeliness and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Driving & Delivery (CDL Driver Responsibilities):
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to transport goods to and from customer sites job locations or company facilities.
- Ensure on-time and accurate delivery and pickup of products while maintaining a professional demeanor with clients.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload materials safely securing items properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain clean organized vehicle conditions and promptly report any mechanical issues.
- Complete and submit all required delivery logs driver paperwork and inspection reports accurately and on time.
Warehouse:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory control order fulfillment shipping/receiving and organization of stock.
- Assist in developing and enforcing operational procedures and safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Monitor and maintain equipment tools and supplies necessary for daily operations.
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure efficient workflow between the warehouse and delivery schedules.
- Perform general warehouse duties such as stocking staging cleaning and assisting with incoming/outgoing shipments.
Requirements: - Valid CDL (Class B or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a 26-foot box truck in a commercial delivery or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 75 lbs) bend kneel and stand for extended periods
- Previous experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer service-oriented..
- Knowledge of DOT regulations safety protocols and warehouse best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be punctual dependable and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
