Job Summary:
This role is for an X-Ray Technologist in an acute hospital setting. The technologist will perform X-ray procedures including fluoroscopy and portable X-rays for all age ranges in the Emergency Department Trauma unit and Operating Room. The position requires a 4x10-hour day shift Friday through Monday.

Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray procedures (including fluoroscopy and portable X-rays) for all age ranges.
- Work in the ED Trauma unit and OR.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current BLS certification.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience (first-timers accepted).
- Ability to work weekends.
- Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Fluoroscopy experience.
Special Considerations:
- No on-call requirements.
- 4x10-hour day shift Friday through Monday (9 am - 7 pm).
- Willingness to work a block schedule.
- Facility is a Magnet facility Level II Trauma center and a USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska.
- Parking is free.
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility.
Scheduling:
- 4x10-hour shifts Friday-Monday 9 am - 7 pm.
- Guaranteed 70 hours per two weeks with possibility of being called off for one 10-hour shift per two weeks.
- Open to accommodating block schedules.
