Job Description
Job Title: Finance Specialist I
Location: Pensacola FL (On-site)
Visa: USC GC GC-EAD TN
Duration: Long Term
Salary: $35K per annum

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Specialist I to support the processing and resolution of Certificate IRA (Individual Retirement Arrangement) and Payable on Death (POD) requests. This position involves collaboration with members contact center representatives and branch teams to ensure accurate and timely handling of financial requests while also monitoring for potential fraudulent activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review research and process Certificate IRA and POD service requests.
- Collaborate with internal teams (contact center and branch staff) to resolve member inquiries.
- Identify and escalate suspicious or potentially fraudulent transactions.
- Apply appropriate holds when necessary and prepare documentation for compliance review.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to applicable policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1 5 years of relevant financial services or operations experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy with high-volume processing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent organizational planning and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
