Position: PRT EVS
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate PRT (Primary Resource Teacher) for Environmental Studies (EVS) to join our team on-site in India. The ideal candidate will have experience in fostering a stimulating learning environment that nurtures young learners curiosity and understanding of their surroundings. Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Environmental Studies.
- Create a safe interactive and supportive learning environment for primary students.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student comprehension and progress.
- Facilitate discussions that encourage critical thinking and environmental awareness.
- Integrate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences.
- Communicate effectively with students parents and staff regarding student needs.
- Encourage positive behavior and social skills among students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in professional development to stay up-to-date with educational practices.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Design age-appropriate and engaging instructional materials.
- Address diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction.
- Organize and oversee extracurricular activities related to environmental awareness.
- Promote school values and contribute positively to the school culture.
- Provide feedback to students and parents regularly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or relevant field.
- Specialization in Environmental Studies is an advantage.
- Valid teaching certification.
- Proven experience as a primary school teacher.
- Strong understanding of child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Experience in curriculum development.
- Skilled in using educational technology.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in assessment strategies for young learners.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Knowledge of best practices in primary education.
- Fluency in English proficiency in local languages is a plus.
