We are recruiting on Purpose a Staff Engineer in Atlanta GA
We are seeking a Staff Structural Engineer to join our team in designing structural systems and elements for a wide range of project types including manufacturing distribution centers data centers commercial buildings historic restorations public sector work adaptive reuse and renovations. This role involves the preparation of construction drawings and specifications while ensuring all designs meet applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design structural systems and components in accordance with engineering principles project requirements and code compliance.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications for use during the building process.
- Perform structural calculations based on design criteria load considerations and industry standards.
- Utilize structural analysis and design software such as RAM Structural System ETABS SAFE SAP RAM Elements and TEKLA to develop and analyze structural designs.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in structural engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in structural design software and familiarity with building codes and standards.
- Strong attention to detail communication skills and a commitment to quality.
