Job Description
Job Title: Director of Operations
Location: Fort Myers FL
Reports to: CEO

Position Summary:
The Director of Operations will help oversee the day-to-day operational functions of the growing business ensuring efficient safe and profitable delivery of projects and services. This leader will drive operational excellence team performance and continuous improvement across installation fabrication service and logistics. While glass/glazing experience is not required a background in construction manufacturing or a related industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all operational departments including project management field installation warehouse fabrication and service teams.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals focusing on efficiency quality safety and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee scheduling resource planning and logistics to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with sales estimating and finance to support growth initiatives and ensure alignment across departments.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) including job costing margins productivity and safety metrics.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards local codes and safety regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes and technologies.
- Build develop and mentor high-performing teams fostering a positive and accountable culture.
- Manage vendor relationships subcontractors and procurement activities to support operational needs.
- Local travel required.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of operational leadership experience ideally within construction building materials manufacturing or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of field operations job costing project delivery and safety best practices.
- Proven ability to manage large teams and complex projects.
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CRM FSM and/or project management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site and travel locally as needed.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to stand walk bend and work in a construction or warehouse environment for extended periods.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
