General Description:
This role is for an experienced IT Business Engineer Lead in Core Banking with a specialized focus on Temenos Transact. The individual will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business processes proposing functional solutions and ensuring seamless system enhancements and integration within the Core Banking ecosystem and its interacting applications.
Key Features of the Position:
Core Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams
- Document functional specifications including data mapping migration strategies reporting needs and user guides
- Lead system enhancement planning and design for Core Banking initiatives
- Recommend scalable solutions while mitigating operational and delivery risks
- Co-ordinate requirement analysis and system change management across project phases
- Oversee development testing migration user training and release management
- Ensure alignment of system changes with business goals and regulatory mandates
- Proactively document change logs provide status updates and escalate issues as needed
- Champion stakeholder collaboration to clarify requirements and impact assessments
- Apply Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban throughout project lifecycle
Skills Requirements:
Professional & Technical:
- 1215 years of experience in IT business analysis system engineering and support focused on Core Banking
- Strong background in Private Banking products including:
- Credit Products: Mortgage Lombard Loans Structured Finance Guarantees
- Derivatives: Options Structured Products
- Securities: Equities Fixed Income Funds
- Deep understanding of Temenos Transact modules: AA MD SC DX SY
- Experience leading PLWs (Product Lifecycle Workshops) and designing processes for new applications
- Hands-on familiarity with SDLC and Agile frameworks (SCRUM/KANBAN)
