You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailA real estate company in New York City is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lease Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of residential leasesfrom initial vacancy through renewals and potential legal action. This in-office role requires a strong understanding of NYC residential leasing laws including rent control regulations and excellent communication and administrative skills.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage the entire lease process including new leases renewals terminations and related legal actions.
Ensure compliance with all local state and federal housing regulations including rent control and stabilization policies.
Coordinate with legal counsel collections maintenance teams brokers and tenants to facilitate lease-related matters.
Maintain and update lease files and tenant records.
Handle correspondence and documentation related to tenant issues and legal proceedings.
Generate reports and track lease milestones and deadlines using Microsoft Excel.
Support internal team members with lease-related data and documentation.
Ideal Qualifications:
Strong understanding of NYC residential leasing laws and rent control/rent stabilization regulations.
At least 23 years of experience in lease administration or property management.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Teams).
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently while coordinating with a legal team.
