Location: Lebec California
Locally Owned Small Animal Veterinary Practice

Join Our Team as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Schedule & Benefits:

We offer a full-time alternative work-week schedule with a strong focus on work-life balance:

  • Current Schedule: Monday Wednesday & Friday 12-hour shifts 1 Saturday per month

  • Upcoming Schedule: Transitioning to a 4-day/10-hour workweek

  • Starting Wage: $20/hour and up competitive and negotiable based on experience

About the Role:

Mountain Aire Veterinary Hospital has been serving the Greater Frazier Mountain community since the late 1980s. As a locally owned and operated small animal practice we pride ourselves on delivering compassionate care in a supportive team-oriented environment.

Were looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who is enthusiastic reliable and passionate about quality patient care. If youre ready to grow your skills in a collaborative setting wed love to meet you!

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Venipuncture catheter placement and ultrasound-guided urine collection

  • Anesthesia monitoring and surgical prep

  • Proper radiographic positioning and imaging

  • Dental cleanings including intraoral radiographs

  • Medication administration and client communication

  • Nursing care for hospitalized patients

  • Educating clients and ensuring a smooth clinical experience

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records

What Were Looking For:

  • Valid California RVT license (in good standing)

  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred

  • Strong technical and surgical support skills

  • Organized dependable and detail-oriented

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Committed to learning and professional development

  • Leadership experience a plus
