Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)
Location: Roanoke VA
Salary: $32.00-$36.00/hour
Shift:
- Monday-Friday: 12:00 PM-8:30 PM or 12:30 PM-9:00 PM
- Rotating on-call weekends
- Additional weekend option: Friday-Sunday 9:00 AM-7:30 PM
Job Overview:
We are hiring two Radiologic Technologists to provide mobile X-ray and EKG services across various care settings including skilled nursing facilities jails/prisons and home health. This role offers a dynamic work environment with autonomy shift differentials and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process digital (DR) or computed (CR) X-rays
- Transmit images to radiologists for interpretation
- Perform EKGs and submit results to cardiologists (if required)
- Communicate with dispatch peers and facility staff
- Maintain vehicle and equipment
- Accurately scan and submit paperwork per protocol
Qualifications:
- State Radiologic Technologist license (licensure reimbursement after 90 days)
- Ability to work rotating weekends and on-call shifts
- Reliable communication organization and interpersonal skills
- Experience in mobile or field-based radiography preferred
