TO:ALL TEACHING AND ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNELBROCKTON PUBLIC SCHOOLSFROM:Dr. Kathleen F. MoranAssistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSUBJECT: Middle School ELA Summer Steering Committee 6-8Committee members will serve on the Middle School ELA SUMMER Steering Committee to revise curriculum maps pacing guides tiered support model lessons and common assessments. Committee members will work up to 20 hours between July 16 and August 15 2025. A log of hours must be documented and submitted on August 15 2025. If funding permits this work will resume in late July and continue through August in preparation for theschool year. Duties and Responsibilities: revise curriculum maps pacing guides and common develop exemplar blended-learning lesson plans for Study Sync units at each grade level which include rigorous grade-appropriate questions and : teaching middle school ELA or delivering special education support at the middle school with developing monitoring and revising district curriculum materials. with data analysis to improve instructional of MA State Standards for ELA. to collaborate effectively with others and to meet all established : Contractual Rate Up to 20 hours between July 16 - August 15 2025Number of Positions: Up to 10 educatorsFunding: Professional Development
