In our long-term transformational program women with children receive housing access to health care education financial coaching job training Bible study and life skills classes in a safe Christ-centered residential setting. The program is designed to lovingly transform families from dependency to self-sufficiency through daily accountability personal responsibility and goal advancement.

Kids Academy and Kids Club serve all children in the New Life Mission program with the goal of providing a loving caring and safe learning environment that encourages and promotes development in the areas of physical social emotional spiritual and intellectual growth.

KIDS CLUB COORDINATOR

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Kids Club Coordinator will be responsible for the development and oversight of the Kids Club Enrichment Center. This includes developing managing and overseeing staff volunteers and student ministry assignment hours. A flexible schedule is required as this will include evening and weekend hours.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage Kids Club staff and volunteers to include: interviewing ensuring background checks are completed scheduling training employee evaluations conflict resolution etc.
Manage and log student ministry assignment hours in Kids Club
Plan both long- and short-range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy
Plan and submit Spring Break Camp schedule to Kids Academy Director by February 1st of each year.
Arrange a classroom environment in accordance with program goals and philosophy
Maintain proper supplies and work within budgetary restraints
Plan and submit Summer Camp 8 week schedule to Kids Academy Director by March 15th of each year.
Keep accident reports and notify mothers and Kids Academy Director of incidents as needed and report any suspected child abuse in accordance with Florida abuse reporting requirements
Maintain confidentiality to include managing photo releases for children in the program
Plan and organize field trips and special events as needed.
Collaborate with volunteer groups to create engaging activities with the children
Maintain open communication with mothers of the children
Document childrens participation in the program in accordance with program policies and procedures

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Child Development or Education is preferred
2 years experience working with children in a classroom setting
Strong organizational skills ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
Excellent writing and interpersonal skills and ability to use Microsoft Office applications
Experience with activity planning and event management
Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel)
Strong organizational verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
Must maintain professional behavior to include respecting participants and other staff maintaining confidentiality and setting appropriate personal boundaries.

WAGES/HOURS/ETC.
Wage is dependent on work experience skillset and education
Background Check and drug screen required valid FL drivers license
Christian Beliefs must be in alignment with New Life Missions Statement of Faith (on website)
