Job Description
Nature and Scope
The Staff Accountant prioritizes work activities to ensure that accounting functions are completed accurately timely and according to established policies and procedures. Performs record keeping activities that ensure accurate documentation for the recording of financial transactions. Has comprehensive knowledge of the computer system especially the general ledger and accounts payable. Processes bi-weekly payroll and/or accounts payable if needed.

Compensation
Compensation Philosophy:
- We have 6 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate staff for 6 years of relevant experience.
Compensation Range:
- $21.45 - $ 27.38 / hour
Job Status / Shift Information
- Regular full-time benefited
- Possible Hybrid Schedule
Qualifications
Preferred Experience:
- Two (2) years experience in a healthcare and/or accounting environment
Preferred Education:
- AA degree or certificate in accounting payroll or office related training.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship adaptability and communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Demonstrate good reading writing skills and effective verbal communication.
- Ability to read write and understand the English language.
- Must be computer literate and have the ability to type 45 words per minute.
Responsibilities
- BAI2 File Reconciliation -Weekly and Monthly
- Upload daily data files to accounting software.
- Complete Monthly Bank Reconciliations.
- Monitor and tracks all grants and awards.
- Process Daily deposit

Child Care:
