Job Description
Position Details- 0.5 FTE Teacher position 0.5 FTE Liaison position
Location: Horizon Middle School East Campus
Under the direction of the Building Administration the Licensed Teacher represents a broad grouping of diverse and different instructional positions responsible for developing and supporting curriculum in assigned instructional subjects; facilitates instruction evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives. Participates and collaborates with other instructional professionals administrators parents counselors and other district personnel concerning student needs issues and district learning initiatives curriculum and building issues.
*Requires a MN Teaching License or the ability to obtain one*
Promotes and strengthens the partnership between American Indian families and the Moorhead Area Public Schools through outreach activities improved communication and education. Promotes cultural diversity through building bridges with community staff parents and students.
