Job Description
Job Summary (Engineer QMM Nalagarh Plant)
- Promote quality achievement and drive performance improvement across the organization.
- Train new operator joinees to enhance their skills including conducting DOJO training sessions.
- Utilize and calibrate quality instruments effectively.
- Ensure strict compliance with company quality systems and procedures.
- Oversee and evaluate tests and procedures including investigating product modifications as needed.
- Supervise technical staff in performing tests and quality checks.
- Manage quality inspection and product release programs for incoming in-process and finished goods.
- Establish and maintain quality control and documentation procedures.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics using statistical data.
- Identify and deliver relevant quality-related training for staff.
- Prepare and review layout inspection reports.
- Oversee laboratory testing processes and ensure proper handling.
- Conduct red bin analysis for quality issues.
- Apply problem-solving techniques to identify and address process defects.
- Utilize man-management training and presentation skills to lead and develop the team.
- Ensure effective communication both written and oral within the team and organization.
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and SAP.
- Communicate fluently in English and Hindi.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in quality management within automotive manufacturing (filter industry experience preferred).

- Problem-solving and routine decision-making abilities.
- Strong training and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in in-process quality control.
- Computer literacy and SAP experience.
