Sterile Processing Technician (Permanent Role) Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
Shift: Variable shift 8-hr Shift
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions: - Prepare and arrange treatment rooms by organizing instruments equipment trays and supplies per department needs.
- Clean instruments and equipment using approved detergents and disinfectants.
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment in compliance with established guidelines.
- Manage inventory by ordering replenishing and distributing surgical and general-use instruments and supplies.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards environmental regulations and infection control protocols.
- Assist in training new staff and provide mentorship to entry-level Sterile Processing personnel.
- Conduct in-service training and contribute to team development.

Qualifications: - Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in sterile processing or a related field.
- Certification (one of the following required):
- Certified Board Sterile Processing & Distribution (CBSPD)
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
- Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
