Job Description

Ambs Chemical LLC is a specialty chemical manufacturer and distributor based in New Braunfels Texas. We serve industries including oil & gas agriculture water treatment and industrial cleaning. As we continue to grow we are modernizing our operations and digital infrastructure. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our remote team and help develop internal tools streamline workflows and support our mission of operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Design build and maintain internal web-based applications and dashboards

Collaborate with operations logistics and sales teams to identify software needs

Develop secure scalable and well-documented code

Automate data entry reporting and other repetitive tasks

Integrate APIs and databases to improve real-time decision-making

Troubleshoot debug and enhance existing software tools

Ensure all software complies with industry standards for safety and data integrity

Requirements

Proven experience as a software engineer developer or programmer

Proficiency in one or more languages: Python JavaScript or C#

Familiarity with web frameworks such as Django Flask React or Angular

Experience with MySQL PostgreSQL or similar databases

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Bonus: Experience in manufacturing or chemical industry environments
