Your Responsibilities
As Finance and Accounting Manager you will lead our local finance function and ensure compliance accuracy and strategic insight. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and managing financial reporting in line with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Continuously analyze financials and independently identify relevant drivers as well as financial optimization potential.
- Focus on the development of accounting quality ensuring reliable internal control systems and supporting external and internal auditors.
- Prepare ongoing financial reports including budgets and rolling forecasts (RFC).
- Support or manage the month-end closing process and reporting to HQ.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely registration and reconciliation of all business transactions.
- Manage accounts receivable collection and accounts payable payment.
- Leading a small team of accounting professionals.
- Managing relationships with external providers for tax audit and payroll services.
Qualifications :
Your Profile
Were looking for a proactive and hands-on finance leader with a strong accounting background and business acumen:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; a Masters degree or professional certification (e.g. CPA CMA) is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
- Industry experience in freight forwarding transportation or logistics is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of SAP FC and CargoWise is an advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Independent structured and solution-oriented working style.
- A team-oriented leader with a reliable and supportive approach.
