An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Restaurant Manager to take the lead at a thriving 24-bedroom hotel and restaurant in the Gloucestershire countryside. Following a recent multi-million-pound refurbishment the venue now combines luxury accommodation a high-volume restaurant and a buzzing bar attracting guests for weddings events and destination dining.

With a weekly turnover of and a team of 20 25 front-of-house staff this is a fast-paced rewarding environment for a motivated leader who thrives on delivering exceptional service while keeping the operation running efficiently.

The Role

As Restaurant Manager you will:

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant ensuring smooth service across high-volume covers (up to 400 per day at weekends).

• Lead train and motivate a team of assistant managers supervisors and waiting staff.

• Implement and monitor SOPs maintaining the highest levels of service hospitality and guest care.

• Plan and manage rotas keeping labour costs and forecasting on target.

• Drive sales and profitability through upselling guest engagement and effective cost control.

• Conduct daily briefings ongoing training and one-to-one coaching.

• Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally maintaining a positive reputation.

• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to deliver seamless service.

What We re Looking For

• Experienced Restaurant Manager or strong Assistant Manager looking to step up.

• Proven ability to lead large teams (20 staff) in a busy food-led environment.

• Strong commercial awareness with a track record in labour cost control and rota planning.

• Hands-on leadership style calm approachable and able to inspire your team.

• High standards for guest service presentation and consistency.

• A proactive problem-solver with excellent organisational skills.

• Flexible and adaptable with availability to work a mix of mornings evenings and weekends.
