Your Role:

  • Lead with Presence & Poise:
    Guide a diverse team of front office professionals with authenticity and passion creating a culture of belonging and excellence.

  • Craft Bespoke Guest Journeys:
    Anticipate needs personalise experiences and delight guestsespecially our VIP and returning patronsthrough warm tailored interactions.

  • Drive Luxury Service Standards:
    Champion Sofitels rituals of hospitality including the Candle Ritual and curated guest welcomes ensuring each guests stay is a masterpiece of memory.

  • Inspire Operational Precision:
    Manage Front Office Concierge Night Audit and Portering with finesse balancing guest satisfaction with financial performance.

  • Collaborate & Elevate:
    Work seamlessly with Housekeeping Food & Beverage and Reservations to maintain a flawless guest journey from lobby to suite.

  • Be the Ambassador of the Sofitel Brand:
    Share the art of French hospitalityeffortless elegance heartfelt connection and cultural refinementthrough your leadership and presence.

  • Luxury Hotel Experience:
    Proven leadership in a 5-star hotel front office environment with an eye for detail and an instinct for anticipating guest desires.

  • Inspirational Leader:
    A natural mentor who motivates and empowers creating a team that radiates pride and passion for service.

  • Guest Centric:
    A warm intuitive host who transforms transactional moments into emotional connections.

  • Operational Expert:
    Confident in financial management reservations systems VIP liaison and guest service technology (Opera Cloud proficiency is a plus).

Qualifications :

  • Previous Front Office supervisory experience preferably within a 5 star luxury environment.
  • Previous leadership skills in a 5 star setting.
  • Coaching skills that can influence positive change
  • Passion for high end hospitality with an absolute eye for detail.
  • Tertiary education - Hospitality Management or Business Management is a bonus
  • A demonstrated ability to build warm relationships and gain trust at all levels.
  • Excellent listening and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead develop and mentor the Front Office team.
  • Controlling departmental budget.
  • Recruitment selection and training of team members.
  • Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation/ interpersonal skills.
  • Initiates contacts and establishes rapport easily.
  • Organises time and work efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Has the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel.
