Chief Engineer is a role in Customer Solution Technology is responsible for leading technical design engineering technology innovation and continuous improvement of capabilities underpinning the Fraud and Scam Deceased Estates and Complaints part of Westpac Group.
The role will focus on setting the engineering vision driving technical design and ensuring the quality and consistency of engineering deliverables and practices. It will lead the engineering chapter to uplift capabilities enhance processes and embed best practices. The role will also collaborate with talent acquisition vendors and partners to meet demand and secure the right engineering talent. Additionally it is responsible for optimising engineering costs boosting productivity and leading strategic workforce planning to build capability and maturity across Collections Technology in partnership with the Heads.
