Job Description
Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking a dedicatedPharmacy Technician (All Levels)to join the role will be full-time and part-time Monday Friday Days/Evenings rotating shifts. Rotating weekends Sign-on Bonus eligible (full-time only).

Pharmacy Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies.
- Accurately pre-packs medications and restocks code cart and stock kits.
- Restocks assigned areas puts away unused medications in addition to utilizing want book and associated inventory management procedures.
- Orders items properly stocks shelves processes returns and identifies vendor errors.
- Accurately fills automated dispensing devices and unit dose pick first doses and floor stock.
- Assists Pharmacist in drug selection and counting medications accurately.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:High School or GED.
- Certification:Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Virginia or a Pharmacy intern license. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Pharmacy Technician 1:One (1) year Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Pharmacy Technician 2:One year experience working as a Pharmacy Technician (hospital experience preferred).
- One (1) year IV training/experience.
