POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Brand Manager Pontoons is responsible for product market research including competitive analysis planning rolling multi-year product and technology road maps ensuring margin and profit generation for the brands leading the brand as a unit business unit leader. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements defining the product brand vision and working closely with engineering marketing sales and aftermarket to deliver winning brands. The Product Managers job also includes aligning the product and brand efforts to support WRMGs overall strategy and goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Brand Product Planning & Product Development
Develop competitive strategy for products solutions to meet revenue and profit goals.
Lead and direct ongoing market intelligence activities that yield deep customer insights to support new opportunity identification and business case development.
Lead product planning and development activities for a program-based services in collaboration with product development teams.
Ensure new solutions meet market and business requirements set forth in business cases.
Develop revisions of and extensions for existing solutions including customization of services new service bundles and pricing models.
Lead and participate in Dealer Council meetings that drive solutions for field customer opportunities.
Seek and develop partnerships and affiliations to enhance marketability of products/brand.
Supports Development Team Management:
Act as the central Brand Owner for the related cross functional teams to ensure that each team member is aware of the Brand deliverables and timing commitments.
Product Life Cycle Management
Monitor financial performance of each model within the brand including investment revenue and profitability.
Analyze and evaluate products/brand market performance and positioning.
Benchmark products: styling performance quality durability price market share and image.
Track and ensure successful launch and sunset strategies.
Implement brand strategies and work with the aftermarket teams on new opportunities.
Brand Marketing Strategy (Working with Marketing)
Work with marketing to set product/brand marketing strategy for the product line. Initiate recommend and approve strategies and changes in marketing to maintain and enhance sales and market share.
Set and monitor marketing objectives for Sales and Marketing to ensure successful performance.
Identify positioning strategies based on market segmentation. Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to ensure proper competitive positioning through the segment.
Product/Brand Market Intelligence (Working with Marketing)
Solicit and communicate information about market trends competitive issues and products customer issues and sales force needs to product development.
Anticipate monitor and respond to competitive issues. Oversee development of strategic competitive information for Sales and Campaign Marketing.
Serve as a key brand liaison between sales/dealers/end customers.
Guide market research and research/focus group activities. Incorporate research findings into positioning and marketing activities.
Business Analysis
Monitor financials and profitability and implement commercial tactics to ensure revenue and profit goals are achieved.
Analyze customer sales history market trend implementation and sampling data to inform development and marketing plans.
Prepare forecasts internal rates of return and product-related financial reports.
Recommends and implements pricing plans in line with strategy.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Degree: Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing Product Development or related field or equivalent work experience
Years of experience: 8-10 yearsof product brand development experience
Comprehensive knowledge of the aluminum boat industry

General technical boat knowledge.
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deliver quality results.
Competent with Microsoft Office applications.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Light to moderate travel will be required up to 2025% during peak periods (trade show seasons).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regular computer work and sitting
Occasional walking standing and lifting up to 50lbs
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
