Within this framework we are seeking for a motivated IoT Software Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will join the team responsible for the design and development our in-house IoT platform that empowers innovative solutions across diverse domains including energy and water management systems smart lighting solutions industrial monitoring electrical vehicle charging smart city applications and more.
Typical tasks include:
- Enrichment of the core IoT platform with support for new sensors and measurement types
- Participation in the design and implementation of new features for domain specific solutions such as energy management industrial monitoring and lighting control
- Deployment and monitoring of microservices on a cloud environment and application of DevOps procedures
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science Telecommunications Electrical Engineering or other related discipline
- Very good knowledge of Java
- Strong software engineering background (Data Structures Object Oriented principles)
- Good knowledge of relational data modeling and SQL
- Familiarity with Linux and Bash scripting
Nice to have
- Experience working with Spring Boot
- Understanding of web architecture and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB)
- Exposure to time series databases
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and Docker containers
