Overview
About the Role
TheSupervisor of Patient Accounts (Operations) working under the guidance of theManager of Patient Accounts is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations of theData ControlandWork Distributionunits. This role involves coordinating workflows supervising staff activities and ensuring that all processes within these sections are carried out efficiently and in alignment with departmental goals and standards. The supervisor plays a key role in maintaining operational accuracy productivity and compliance within the patient accounts function.
Responsibilities
What Youll Do
- Reports directly to theManager of Patient Accounts.
- Oversees the daily operations of theData ControlandWork Distributionunits.
- Coordinates workflows to ensure smooth and efficient processing of patient account activities.
- Supervises staff within assigned sections providing guidance support and performance oversight.
- Ensures all processes align with departmental goals standards and compliance requirements.
- Plays a key role in maintainingoperational accuracyproductivity andregulatory compliance.
- Contributes to continuous improvement efforts within the patient accounts function.
Qualifications
What Youll Bring
- Bachelors degree inBusiness Administrationor a related field required.
- Minimum ofthree (3) years of experiencein patient charge input operations.
- Priorsupervisory or leadership experienceis a plus.
- Proficient inpersonal computer (PC) useand related software applications.
- Strongverbal and written communication skills.
- Additional relevant experience may be substituted for the degree on ayear-for-year basis.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is SS/21S: $57157 - $83248 per year in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
