You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWROC-TV have a part-time paidinternship available for undergraduate students through The New York State Broadcasters Association. This program allows the ideal candidates the opportunity to experience firsthand how a television station operates. Candidates will spend time in key departments within the television station such as News Operations Production/Creative Services Digital Operations Technical/Engineering among other things.
The ideal candidates MUST demonstrate professionalism and strive to reach the highest standard of excellence. Interns are required to work a specified schedule and work in business attire. They must also possess a strong collaborative spirit and understand the vision and creativity necessary to put on a newscast. The ideal candidate should have strong comprehensive writing and communication skills. Applicants must be at least 17 years of age. Residents of New York State and/or attending school in New York. Must have own transportation and flexibility in hours scheduled.
Compensation: $15.50 Hourly
