This is an opportunity within the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) as the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Associate Director at the SBU level reporting to the LADS FP&A Director. The LADS SBU has revenues exceeding $5B and is rapidly growing each year to meet increased demand. This role serves as the deputy to the LADS FP&A Director and is a valued business partner within the LADS SBU interacting with the LADS leadership team to achieve business objectives.
This position oversees a wide spectrum of FP&A activities for the LADS SBU. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing the LADS FP&A process and cadence across the SBU. The FP&A Associate Director will coordinate deliverables and develop executive presentations for RAY HQ FP&A. This role will interface with cross-functional leaders to understand investment business cases capacity and business strategy. The FP&A Associate Director provides coaching training and development to direct reports and matrixed employees within LADS FP&A.
The ideal candidate for this role should be a strategic business thinker team orientated proactive self driven possess strong technical knowledge of financial planning processes good problem-solving abilities great communication skills and experienced at messaging through all levels.
This position is being offered in an onsite capacity and based on the needs of the business. Onsite work can be done in Tewksbury MA. Relocation assistance is not being provided.
What You Will Do:
Analyze & make recommendations to leadership regarding financial metrics: Bookings Sales Earnings Cash
Interact with program stakeholders (SSBU CFOs and SSBU FP&A leads) to ensure alignment in the forecasting process
Brief the LADS Leadership Team on Long Range Plan Annual Operating Plan Current Year Financials and Investment Reviews
Partner with cross-functional leadership in OSC Engineering R&C and Strategy
Interface directly with the RAY HQ FP&A leadership team on deliverables and presentations
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Business Finance Accounting or related field & 12 years of prior relevant experience; OR an Advanced degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience
Management/leadership experience on high visibility projects and/or programs
Experience with Program Controls and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Qualifications We Prefer:
Masters Degree in Finance Business Economics or related
Ability to convey critical financial analyses to all levels of the organization through effective PowerPoint deck development and messaging
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability and comfort to succinctly present to senior levels of leadership
Demonstrated ability to be proactive creative and innovative including using critical and strategic thinking to make difficult business decisions
Sound analytical problem identification and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to influence others and achieve results
Demonstrated ability to work on a fast-paced team and lead in a cross-functional environment

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 147000 USD - 295000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
