Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst Consulting at a Fortune 50 Company

• Build and maintain dynamic three-statement financial models (income statement balance sheet cash flow) to support corporate forecasting and scenario planning.
• Conduct driver-based forecasting integrating operational KPIs to enhance budget accuracy and alignment.
• Lead forecast variance analysis identifying key drivers and recommending actionable steps to stakeholders.
• Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis to evaluate strategic alternatives and financial risks.
• Support long-term planning through DCF models capital allocation frameworks and investment return analysis.
• Develop and maintain OpEx and CapEx models offering clear visibility into spend categories and capital investments.
• Partner with department heads and leadership during the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and budgeting cycles.
• Deliver insights on gross margin trends pricing impact volume mix shifts and cost optimization opportunities.
• Translate financial insights into strategic recommendations and executive-ready presentations.

Core Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field; Masters degree or MBA preferred.
• 3 years of experience in FP&A financial modeling or corporate finance (consulting experience is a plus).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with Adaptive Insights Anaplan Power BI or similar tools is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and present financial narratives clearly.
• Experience with Fortune 50 clients or large enterprise environments is preferred.
• Prior experience in management consulting process improvement or data-driven decision support is highly desirable.
