Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake valuations of office properties in Central London for various purposes including loan security financial reporting and investment advice.
- Assist in managing client relationships providing excellent service and identifying opportunities for new business.
- Prepare detailed and accurate valuation reports ensuring compliance with RICS Valuation Standards (the Red Book) and internal quality control procedures.
- Conduct market research and analysis to support valuation conclusions monitoring trends and developments in the Central London office market.
- Liaise with clients agents and other professionals to gather information and insights relevant to valuations.
- Assist in mentoring and training junior members of the team.
- Present valuation advice to clients and colleagues in a clear and concise manner.
- Work collaboratively with other teams within the company such as Agency Investment and Capital Markets.
- Maintain a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- MRICS qualification or working towards it.
- Experience in commercial property valuation preferably with a focus on Central London offices.
- Good understanding of valuation principles and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and valuation software.
