Job Overview/Summary:
As an Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant you will support the clinical needs of patients and doctors while contributing to a culture of collaboration and innovation. Your efforts will help improve oral health in the community one smile at a time. This role requires daily travel to nearby dental offices to support patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to nearby offices to support patient care

  • Assist during a variety of oral surgery treatment procedures

  • Take dental X-rays

  • Set up and break down the operatory after treatment

  • Manage infection control protocols-prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies

  • Perform general office tasks as needed

  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure excellent patient care

Primary Skills:

  • Proficiency in dental assisting for oral surgery

  • X-ray certification

  • Infection control and sterilization procedures

  • Effective patient education and communication

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Prior experience supporting multiple offices

  • Bilingual communication skills

  • Familiarity with Aspen Dental systems (if applicable)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Active license registration or permit as required by the state

  • Dental X-ray certification

  • Valid non-restricted drivers license and appropriate auto insurance (or ability to be insured under company fleet)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Willingness to travel and support multiple locations
