JOB TITLE: Electronic Rack Assembly
LOCATION: Ventura CA
PAY RATE: Up to $35/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM 11:30 PM Monday Friday)

Training: 1st Shift (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)

Summary:
-
Support hardware fabrication testing and troubleshooting in a laboratory environment.
-
Responsibilities include building electronic/electrical chassis and mechanical racks using development engineering drawings as well as performing a variety of electrical and electromechanical tests.

Assemble test troubleshoot and repair circuit card and power assemblies
-
Perform electro/mechanical testing and troubleshooting
-
Fabricate electronic/electrical chassis and mechanical racks
-
Support general lab operations and follow safety procedures
-
Communicate technical issues with customers and collaborate with vendors
-
Lift up to 25 lbs and perform ladder climbing when required

Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required; AA in Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferred

Prior hands-on experience in electrical/electronic hardware testing and fabrication
-
Ability to interpret development engineering drawings
-
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for circuit cards power assemblies and electro/mechanical systems
-
Willingness to work 2nd shift after initial training on 1st shift

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
