Position Overview

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for maintaining the performance and reliability of production equipment and facility systems. This includes troubleshooting and repairing equipment performing preventive maintenance and ensuring all work is performed in a clean efficient and safe manner in compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety health GMP food safety and company procedures

  • Respond promptly to equipment trouble calls and perform effective repairs

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and document all activities

  • Troubleshoot diagnose and replace defective components

  • Use hand tools power tools welding equipment and man lifts as needed

  • Perform daily adjustments and keep all equipment running optimally

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of maintenance work completed

  • Ensure all repairs are conducted with sanitation and safety standards in mind

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 2 3 years in maintenance within a food or beverage manufacturing environment

  • Education: High School Diploma required; technical or mechanical training is a plus

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English

  • Must be self-motivated and dependable

  • Able to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting

  • Willingness to work in variable environments (damp noisy or changing temperatures)

  • Physical Requirements:

    • Lift up to 50 lbs daily

    • Stand bend reach and move throughout the shift

    • Respond to emergency maintenance calls when needed

    • Willingness to travel to technical training schools when required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or mechanics

  • Previous experience with food safety standards in a production setting

  • Familiarity with automated manufacturing systems
