Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MRI Technologist to join their team in Kingwood TX. This full-time on-site position plays a critical role in supporting diagnostic imaging by performing high-quality MRI procedures that aid physicians in detecting abnormalities diagnosing conditions and treating patients effectively.
Key Responsibilities:Perform MRI procedures including patient preparation positioning and operation of MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
Administer contrast agents as required and ensure patient safety throughout imaging procedures.
Enter and monitor patient data accurately within imaging systems.
Conduct quality assurance checks on MRI equipment and imaging systems.
Assist in preparing and maintaining accreditation documentation (e.g. ACR applications).
Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to departmental leadership promptly.
Participate in on-call duties as needed.
Maintain compliance with all hospital policies procedures safety protocols and service standards.
Support the growth and development of the imaging team by mentoring and serving as a resource to junior technologists.
Commit to providing safe compassionate and personalized patient care aligned with the organizations mission and values.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Completion of an approved MRI training program.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS).
Required: One of the following:
Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or
Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on MRI experience required.
Skills:
Proficient in operating advanced MRI equipment and systems.
Able to lift and maneuver patients safely in coordination with other staff.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
