Job Description

Job Title: Senior MRI Technologist
Location: Kingwood TX (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: As per Exp.
Work Schedule: Thursday Saturday 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MRI Technologist to join their team in Kingwood TX. This full-time on-site position plays a critical role in supporting diagnostic imaging by performing high-quality MRI procedures that aid physicians in detecting abnormalities diagnosing conditions and treating patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures including patient preparation positioning and operation of MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images.

  • Administer contrast agents as required and ensure patient safety throughout imaging procedures.

  • Enter and monitor patient data accurately within imaging systems.

  • Conduct quality assurance checks on MRI equipment and imaging systems.

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining accreditation documentation (e.g. ACR applications).

  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to departmental leadership promptly.

  • Participate in on-call duties as needed.

  • Maintain compliance with all hospital policies procedures safety protocols and service standards.

  • Support the growth and development of the imaging team by mentoring and serving as a resource to junior technologists.

  • Commit to providing safe compassionate and personalized patient care aligned with the organizations mission and values.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

  • Completion of an approved MRI training program.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Required: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS).

  • Required: One of the following:

    • Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) or

    • Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on MRI experience required.

Skills:

  • Proficient in operating advanced MRI equipment and systems.

  • Able to lift and maneuver patients safely in coordination with other staff.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
