Job Description
OpenShift Engineer
6-12 months contract
Atlanta GA or Dallas TX (hybrid)
Responsibilities:
- Install configure and manage Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters in on-prem hybrid or cloud environments (AWS Azure GCP).
- Set up and maintain infrastructure for multi-tenant OpenShift environments.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on OpenShift.
- Set up centralized logging using ELK/EFK stack or OpenShift Logging.
- Configure OpenShift networking including routes ingress controllers and service mesh (Istio).
- Provision and manage storage classes persistent volumes and dynamic storage provisioning.
- Document configurations standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with developers DevOps and security teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in OpenShift
- Certifications in OpenShift
