Job Description

OpenShift Engineer
6-12 months contract
Atlanta GA or Dallas TX (hybrid)

Responsibilities:

  • Install configure and manage Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters in on-prem hybrid or cloud environments (AWS Azure GCP).
  • Set up and maintain infrastructure for multi-tenant OpenShift environments.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on OpenShift.
  • Set up centralized logging using ELK/EFK stack or OpenShift Logging.
  • Configure OpenShift networking including routes ingress controllers and service mesh (Istio).
  • Provision and manage storage classes persistent volumes and dynamic storage provisioning.
  • Document configurations standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with developers DevOps and security teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in OpenShift
  • Certifications in OpenShift
