Job Description
Job Title: Senior Live Production Manager
Job Location: Monroe NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Description:
- Oversee daily operations of poultry farms including breeding feeding and health management.
- Ensure adherence to biosecurity protocols and animal welfare standards.
- Monitor and manage the production process to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Lead train and develop farm managers and production staff.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure product quality and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of farm operations.
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
- Develop and manage production budgets ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
- Monitor and control inventory levels of feed medications and other supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations related to poultry production.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on production performance health status and other key metrics.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
