Job Description
Project Manager Salesforce
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver Salesforce projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Salesforce implementations upgrades or enhancements and will work closely with stakeholders technical teams and partners to ensure successful delivery of Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects including planning execution monitoring and closing.
- Define project scope goals deliverables timelines and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams of Salesforce developers admins business analysts and external partners.
- Gather and document business requirements translate them into functional user stories or specifications.
- Coordinate development configuration testing deployment and user training activities.
- Identify and manage project risks dependencies and issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide regular project status reports and updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and oversee defect resolution.
- Ensure Salesforce solutions align with best practices governance policies and security standards.
- Support change management and adoption efforts to drive user engagement and ROI.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business or a related field.
- 5 8 years of project management experience with at least 3 years managing Salesforce projects.
- Solid understanding of core Salesforce Clouds such as Sales Cloud Service Cloud or Experience Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model security model workflows and automation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Administrator Salesforce Platform App Builder PMP or PMI-ACP) are a plus.
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to integrations with other enterprise systems (ERP CRM marketing automation tools).
- Experience working with offshore or distributed teams.
- Familiarity with DevOps and deployment tools for Salesforce (e.g. Gearset Copado).
- Experience with tools like JIRA Confluence MS Project or similar project tracking tools.
