Step into a hands-on Senior DevOps/Platform Lead role where youll drive and coordinate platform operations across a wide-ranging portfolio of applications within the Dealer Experience environment. This position centers on ensuring smooth upgrades supporting software functionality and partnering with DevOps teams to maintain system health stability and compliance.
Take ownership of a subset of 40 applications support a thriving community of over 300 developers and serve as the go-to expert for all platform-related needs. Success in this role requires strong coordination skills a deep technical foundation in DevOps practices and seamless collaboration with developers operations and security teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a hands-on DX Lead across a large app ecosystem.
- Own and support a subset of applications as the primary or secondary contact.
- Collaborate with security to ensure compliance and script utilization in AWS.
- Support DevOps practices and development pipelines (TDP guidance naming standards repo structures).
- Lead platform and functional monitoring across applications.
- Assist with software version tracking compliance upgrades and monitoring.
- Work across multiple teams and vendors (horizontal support) to understand various architectures.
- No delegation must be 100% hands-on.
- Communicate and coordinate with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Java Python (no UI work required). Terraform Serverless AWS
Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in DevOps Platform Engineering or related roles.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools pipeline design and automation.
- Hands-on expertise in Terraform Serverless Framework and AWS.
- Proficient in DevOps tools monitoring platforms and automation frameworks.
- Proficient in backend technologies such as Java and Python (no UI work required).
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
- Strong experience supporting large developer ecosystems and coordinating across multiple product teams.
- Comfortable supporting platform observability monitoring tools and logging frameworks.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
