Job Summary:
This position is for a Physical Therapist in an outpatient rehabilitation setting at a Critical Access hospital. The Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitation services to patients following established protocols and collaborating with the healthcare team. A minimum of one year of experience is required but new graduates are considered.
Location: Lincoln Illinois United States.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Perform physical therapy assessments and evaluations.
- Administer therapeutic interventions including manual therapy exercise programs and modalities.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and infection control protocols.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist (new graduates considered).
- Current license as a Physical Therapist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in outpatient rehabilitation.
- Specific certifications or specializations in physical therapy.
Special Considerations:
- Four 10-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 4:00 PM).
- Schedule requests should be discussed with the manager.
- Time off requests should be discussed with the manager.
- Guaranteed hours with a clause for client cancellations up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment. Cancellations beyond this limit will be billed to the client. On-call shifts in lieu of cancellations count as cancelled shifts.
- Hospital is a Critical Access facility with 25 beds.
- Parking permit required (no cost).
Scheduling:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (6:45 AM - 4:00 PM).
- Schedule flexibility is possible but requires discussion with the manager.
