Role Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Representative you will be the face of our client in rural areas building relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals to promote their pharmaceutical products and increase prescriptions. You will also monitor product availability and gather crucial customer feedback from chemists and general shops and gain valuable market insights from stockists. This is a highly rewarding position with opportunities for advancement and significant impact on patients lives.
Main tasks include* Build strong relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals in rural areas.* Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to increase prescriptions.* Visit chemists and general shops to monitor product availability and gather customer feedback.* Visit stockists to obtain market intelligence and monitor sales trends.* Accurately record sales data and submit reports using mobile devices and relevant software.* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry trends.* Adhere to all company policies and procedures relating to sales and compliance.
Requirements* Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or a related field.* Proven experience as a Medical Representative preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.* Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.* Strong organizational and time management abilities.* Proficiency in using mobile devices and relevant software for data entry and reporting.* Valid drivers license and comfortable driving in rural areas.* Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload effectively.* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations.* A commitment to ethical sales practices and compliance regulations.* Willingness to travel extensively within rural Jaipaiguri.
