Salary Range:
$140000 $180000
Starting salary is based on minimum education and years of experience and increases based on education and/or experience.
Overview:
We are seeking skilled System Administrators to support the implementation troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems in a government environment. This role involves managing IT infrastructure providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support and ensuring system performance and reliability.

Must possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph
Key Responsibilities:
Support implementation troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Manage daily IT operations including system configuration
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support
Assist users with IT system access and usage
Monitor and resolve issues related to:
Client/server/storage/network devices
Mobile devices
Escalate issues and communicate status to internal and external stakeholders
Perform system optimization capacity analysis and resource planning
Configure/manage UNIX and Windows operating systems
Install software and configure network components
Provide detailed analysis and feedback on escalated tickets
Support dispatch system and hardware issue resolution
Support the design of systems mission architecture and hardware
Demonstrate understanding of System Administration interdependencies within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Analyze/resolve complex issues involving server hardware applications and software integration
Required Education & Experience:
Senior System Administrator:
15 years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope type and complexity
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
Five (5) additional years of SA experience may substitute for a Bachelors degree
Required Skills:
Proficiency in UNIX and Windows operating systems
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with IT systems
