Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the development implementation and updating of training programs in the areas of teller member services and lending for applicable personnel. Presents technical skills training in a classroom setting and on-site at Branch locations to ensure that staff are equipped to perform their job functions in accordance with established Credit Union policies procedures and regulations. Provides support in the planning and implementation of large events and meetings and completes miscellaneous duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Assumes responsibility for ensuring the effective and efficient performance of frontline personnel through providing effective training and support functions.
Assumes responsibility for temporary management of trainees during training schools ensuring optimal performance.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Department and Branch personnel and with management.
Assumes responsibility for maintaining professional business relations and ensuring superior member services.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
- Bachelors degree in education Training & Development Business Management or a related field or equivalent experience.
Required Knowledge:
- Understanding of training and development processes.
- Thorough knowledge of teller member service and lending operations procedures and system applications.
- Knowledge of Credit Union products services policies and procedures.
- Understanding of the Credit Union Philosophy.
- Knowledge of basic accounting.
- Familiarity with differences in branch/Branch functions.
Experience Required:
- Minimum three years of financial institution experience.
- Minimum six months of training experience.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to train others.
- Ability to lead and influence others to achieve desired training objectives.
- Professional appearance dress and attitude.
- Solid math skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Able to use all related computer and business applications including telephone calculator television and video machine.

Education/Certification:
Preferred Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Camtasia Snagit Canva Kahoot and other training software preferred.
Experience Preferred:
- Minimum three years of financial institution experience preferably in the areas of teller member service and lending.
- Minimum one (1) year of training experience.
