Controls Engineer - Menomonee Falls

Menomonee Falls WI

Role Opportunities

  • Work with sales and customers to develop solutions for custom equipment for paint/fluid/adhesive applications
  • Assist with the design and development of industrial paint process equipment
  • Panel layouts component selection etc.
  • Servo Motion VFD Stepper Motion
  • Studio 5000 / Factory Talk (required) Fanuc integration Siemens Codesys
  • Document project electrical schematics using 2D CAD and SolidWorks Electrical
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Panel building and mechanical assembly if needed
  • Onsite commissioning of systemsRequired Knowledge Skills and Abilities: (Companies ATS Questions):

Successful Candidates Should Have the Following Skills & Experience

  • Associate or bachelors degree in an engineering field
  • 3 years of experience troubleshooting electrical systems
  • 3 years of experience with low voltage and high voltage 3-phase systems
  • Ability to read and modify electrical prints using AutoCAD
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
  • Experience in PLC programming (LD ST) with Allen Bradley
  • Understanding of industrial network infrastructures including Ethernet and DeviceNet
  • HMI development using PanelView
  • Working knowledge of electrical circuits
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel MS Word email and Internet
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact effectively with others
  • Support installation of both mechanical and software controls

Travel Requirement: Estimated 25% travel required.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities: (Companies ATS Questions):

1. Do you have 3 years of electrical troubleshooting experience

2. Are you Proficient in PLC programming (Allen Bradley LD/ST)

3. Do you have Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems (low/high voltage 3-phase)

4. Do you have Experience with Studio 5000 / FactoryTalk

5. Do you have Ability to read and edit electrical schematics (AutoCAD)

6. Do you have Hands-on experience with HMI development (PanelView)

7. Do you have Familiarity with Servo Motion VFDs and Stepper systems

8. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder. (Please indicate which)
