When you become a Plumber Pre-Apprentice you begin to learn a trade that will be with you throughout your life!Youll be working next to accomplished tradespeople and learn what it means to do that job. We are dedicated to getting the job done- but we have a good time in the process!
Within 4-6 months welltalk with you about how youre doing and then well decideto sponsor you for an apprenticeship and will help you through that process. Youll make money while youre learning- and we pay for your training!
The commitment to this process is several years. If that doesnt fit your lifestyle then this may not be the best role for you.
What will you doin your job
- Work closely with plumbing journeymen on systems and components
- Learn water treatment equipment piping and controls
- Develop skill set surrounding plumbing layout
- Learn and develop efficiency with Mig Tig and Arc welding
- Install plumbing fixtures and trim
What do you need to do this job
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a current drivers license with favorable driving record
- Demonstrate math skills- we have an assessment for you to take!
- Achieve successful scores on either the Accuplacer or your ACTs
- One year of construction experience will help!
- Be physically able to complete the work of the trade
