Job Description
- Responsible for setting up the line per job card requirements continuous operation of machines and mixing and replenishment of paint supply.
- Communicates with team members regarding operating conditions paint mixture special problems etc. that occurred during the shift.
- Continuously monitors each step of the metalizing process for quality of parts and performs regular inspections of color cross-hatching adhesion and aesthetic assessment.
- Cleans machines and performs preventative maintenance.
- Keeps production team informed throughout the shift on pertinent issues with the processes or parts that could affect production and ensures Take Off team is supplied with raw parts.
- Maintains a clean line free of clutter. Stores equipment properly.
- Performs basic troubleshooting on the line under the direction of the Metalizing Technician and Process Engineering Technician.
- Properly completes required paperwork regarding parts produced scrap and paint consumption and communicates all pertinent issues throughout shift.
- All other duties as assigned to support production.
- Proficient in basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Must be able to follow specific instructions for paint measurement and preparation.
- Computer proficient-Microsoft Windows based computer operation.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed sometimes on short notice or on weekends.
- Ability to use both hands to pick-up and manipulate small parts simultaneously.
- Willing to take direction from others.
- Capable of standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Can successfully work in a team environment.
- Experience in industrial paint application a plus.
