JOB SUMMARY:
Perform financial analysis reporting and budgeting for a specific operational area through a range of applications including journal entries report writing and review variance commentary and partnership with operators.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all month-end duties including but not limited to journal entries blackline reqs data requests and financial reports in compliance with UDX timelines.
- Complete and/or audit financial reports that summarize divisional financial comparisons in the areas of labor non-labor allocations in/out.
- Evaluate all costs incurred throughout the year looking for ways to reduce cost and find efficiencies. Assist Leader in the development of annual operating budgets and quarterly estimates (LEs).
- Process all invoices complete necessary journal entries respond to emails timely and accurately monitor and track project spend/actuals.
- Maintain an active relationship with Operating division. Prepare and present monthly variance reports. Analyze performance metrics and identify areas to improve. Recommend solutions to manage within budgets.
- Prepare and coordinate special project/event budgets. Make recommendations regarding operational decisions related to those projects.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Associates degree (AA) is required.
- Bachelors degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years relevant Finance experience required.
- 1 year supervisory experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
