no benefitspaying $40 per hour.

Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory reporting documents.
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
Reconcile account balances and bank statements.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Develop and implement financial controls and procedures.
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a senior role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SAGE ERP systems.
Public accounting experience preferred
Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices.
Advanced Excel skills
